Four Weight Loss Programs

Here we are again. The beginning of a new year means that most of the human population has started some sort of New Year’s resolutions. Most years, these resolutions fall flat. Let’s make this year different! Starting your year with a mindful and sustainable weight loss program will rock your world.  According to Performance Health, 48% of the people who decided to make New Year’s resolutions in 2019 wanted to lose weight. Other popular resolutions people wanted to make are exercising more (59%) and eating healthier (54%).  So, are you one of them? If yes, you are in the right place. Marketing Immersion has gathered some great information about the top 5 weight loss programs to help you reach your goal to live a balanced and healthy life.

4. WW (WEIGHT WATCHERS)

I dare you to find anyone in North America who has not heard of Weight Watchers or the more recently branded WW. Unlike other weight-loss programs, Weight Watchers looks at calories and complex nutrition data to create one simple number: a food’s PersonalPoints value. Here is how PersonalPoints work. PersonalPoints™ is WW’s most individualized program yet: No two plans are the same! Yours will be designed specifically for you to hit your personal weight-loss goals—all while eating the foods you love and living the way you want. It’s exactly why healthier eating feels easier—and actually fun—on WW plans.

The WW app is a calorie/personal point tracking app. You have access to recipes, 24/7 coaching, meditation exercises and more. We would like to point out that Weight Watchers coaches are not licensed professionals. Many Weight Watchers coaches are former WW customers who have had their own successful stories. WW puts their coaches through their own certification process.

Weight watchers has multiple plans that you can participate in. The one month plan is $9.69/week, the three month plan is $3.30/week, and the six month plan is $21.95/month.

3. NOOM

Noom Logo from @marketing-immersion.com

Noom, one of the more recent entries launched in 2008, is one of the most popular weight loss apps on the market today. Noom is an app driven program. It uses the latest proven behavioral science to empower people to take care of their health. Noom defines itself as a consumer-led digital health company that helps people live healthier, happier lives.

Through a combination of psychology, technology, and human coaching, Noom’s platform has helped millions of our users meet their personal health and wellness goals. Noom started with a focus on weight loss, but now they’re working to expand their reach to help people with chronic and non-chronic conditions, such as stress and anxiety, hypertension, and diabetes.

Like Weight Watchers, Noom’s coaches are not licensed professionals. Noom has its own 4 week program they call “Noomiversity”. All of their coaches are certified through this 4 week program.

Noom can get expensive. Like any long term investment, you will have to “weigh” the benefits vs. the impact on your wallet. To get Noom’s best rate per month, we suggest subscribing for a year. Noom is a complete program, diet, exercise, and mediation. Noom is $60/ month, but the best deal is the year subscription plan for $199.

2.KETO

The Keto Diet has been around for a long time. Similar to the Atkins diet, it is about controlling the amount of carbs taken into the diet. The goal is to increase pound shedding. A low carb, high fat diet that offers many health benefits. Not only does this diet help you lose weight, it can help you improve your overall health and body function. This diet kicks your body into Ketosis. When this happens your body is incredibly good at burning fat. This diet also fuels your brain. Keto diets do not have a set price. However, one must accommodate for the high amount of proteins and natural foods that need to be purchased. The daily cost of the keto diet comes out to about $10.50 USD. Therefore, the weekly cost of the keto diet for these macros would be around $75. Of course, this only applies if you are not grocery shopping as a family. These prices are only for one person and are approximate.

1. NOCK COLLABORATIVE

If you are still reading this, that probably means you are looking for a change in your life. And, you may have experience with these other diets. With this last program we’d like to introduce you to something different. It’s called NOCK Collaborative and it is not a diet at all.  It’s founder, Stephanie Fee, offers a NOCK lifestyle that transforms your relationship to food. NOCK’s focus is channeling your natural instincts and using them to lead you to a healthy and whole life.

Nock uses a three pillar ethical approach to change:

NOCK Thinks

You will have access to online and in-person wellness experiences.  Do you want a personalized and sustainable weight loss plan? Nock’s got you! The Sustainable Weight Loss program is $500/month. This program comes with coaching from certified professionals, workshops and a lot more! Are you worried about your weight or how to maintain a healthy lifestyle? NOCK’s Stress Management program is $150/month and it is here to help you lessen stress in your life. There are a variety of programs to choose from at NOCK based on what you are looking for.

NOCK’s goal is to turn your weight loss goal to a life changing goal.  Are you ready to get a personalized plan that actually works for you? Go To NOCK Collaborative.
