Clubhouse – Janice Is In The Clubhouse

CLUBHOUSE

Engaging. Real Conversations in Real Time.
Access To The Influencers. A Definite Value Add.

Clubhouse is a new, invite only, audio only, social media app from former Google staffer Rohan Seth and Tech entrepreneur Paul Davidson of Alpha Exploration Co. This app is a super networking opportunity, and robustly fun and active. Clubhouse facilitates auditory communication for groups as small as a few individuals and can accommodate groups of over 5,000 people.

Still young, but it continues to build momentum and a buzz in the tech and equity communities. It was created in March 2020 with 12 million dollars in funding and a vision to make a more accessible network platform. In February 2021, the app had seven million downloads. By March it had 12.7 million downloads. It has been around for a little more than one year, and is already valued at more than $1 billion, a huge jump when compared to its $100 million valuation in 2020.

Hmmm!

I know what you are thinking, “Where have I been?”  Well, we do not know where you have been,  but it is time to get back at it and get on Clubhouse.

Clubhouse Is Real Conversations In Real Time.

It feels like networking, but on steroids. You are not going to want to miss it.  Clubhouses’ atmosphere is relaxed sometimes and sometimes very intense. It is a networking app of options by interest. You can open or schedule a chat, and it will be available to everyone worldwide, including celebrities.  With the Clubhouse, you are able to talk about Space X with Elon Musk, comedy with Kevin Hart, and financial investments with Kevin O’ Leary. Creating an account and then join a Chat room, and like many social media platforms, it is simple, and can take less than three minutes to set up.

How To Get It?  By Invitation & No. No. No Recording.

Once you download the app and create an account, you’ll be prompted to pick some topics in which you are interested. The next step is to get invited by an existing Clubhouse member. Don’t worry – this typically happens within minutes. Accept the invitation and jump in. Don’t be shy!  My first room was a discussion on the app itself and what new tools could be added to enhance the user experience.

Now on IOS. Androidians Just Have To Wait!

Parts of Clubhouse are still in Beta. For example, if you are on an iOS platform, you can go to the iPhone App Store and download it now. If you have an Android, well, you will just have to wait until the app launches on Android. Or…here’s an idea! Get one of your curious friends that has an iPhone to download the app and demo it for you. Clubhouse is still a hidden treasure being promoted by word-of-mouth, and articles, like this one. Although, I nor my company have any affiliation to Clubhouse except as users.

Good Job Guys!

Tell Us What You Think!

All of you Iphone users, go to the app store,

download CLUBHOUSE, and let us know what you think of the app.
